If there were always rainbows in the sky
And colourful fishes could fly,
How would it be?
If the world were full of smiles
And no one ever sighed,
How would it be?
If the grass were always green
And it were eternally spring,
How would it be?
If flowers forever bloomed
And there were no gloom,
How would it be?
Would we still see the glory of a brilliant sunrise,
Marvel at the fishes that bring the pond to life?
Would we know that happiness makes us smile
And sadness brings a tear to the eye?
Would we know the colours of autumnal gold,
The coldness and whiteness of snow?
Would we know the beauty of a budding rose
And feel happy and sad in throes?
